As a final sendoff to 2023, Yes Man Jr. put together an impromptu New Year's Eve show at bassist Garett Lohner's house in Marietta, GA.
Rejoined by their drummer, the band gave an energetic performance containing both original numbers and cover songs.
Assembled in the (in)convenient location of a corner blocking the living room hall - and with Garett standing abreast with an ominously uncanny Grinch decoration -
the band played their show for a turnout larger than initially expected.
With no other musical acts, Yes Man Jr. performed for the better part of an hour before grabbing their equipment and sodding off to their basement dungeon
(they rehearse in the same house).
Just kidding. Being the rock stars they are, the Yes Men returned to the festivities and gleefully waved good-bye to 2023. The show was fun
and a success - and hey, hauling the gear up a flight of stairs sure beats loading up the van.
